Winemaker's Notes
2007 Pinot Noir - Estate Grown - Russian River Valley
Our 2006 Estate Grown Pinot Noir displays a deep ruby color in the glass and offers inviting aromas of black cherry with hints of coffee and spices. Ripe red fruit on the palate leads to lingering notes of cocoa, brown spice, and fennel.
2007
Pinot Noir - Marin County
This wine has a sweet nose of tart cherry, pomegranate and spicy cola; on the palate a core of raspberry followed by pomegranate and cherry with a tart plum finish and light tannins.
2007 Pinot Noir - Mendocino County
Our first release of a Mendocino County Pinot offers complex aromas of cedar, mushroom and intense floral notes with bright sweet strawberries on the palette.
2008 Pinot Noir - Sonoma County
The Sonoma County Pinot offers intense dark fruit with hints of coffee and chocolate and a slight floral overtone that makes you want to come back for more.
2008 Pinot Noir - Kaufman Sunnyslope Vineyard (Sonoma Mountain)
The Kaufman Sunnyslope Vineyard is located in the western corner of the Sonoma Mountain between the Silver Pines and Van der Kamp vineyards. The wine spent 10 months in oak before being bottled. The vineyard is noted for a round rich texture with intense aromas of red raspberries, brown spices and long rich finish.
